Mac Air can't hold charge after water spill

Two nights ago, I spilled water on my macbook air. It immediately shut down, I put it in rice and dried it off, and it seemed like crisis was avoided. It will charge/ turn on. However, now it wont hold charge once I close/ let it rest it for a while. So if its at 80% or anything and I close it for the afternoon, but I come back later and the battery is dead all of the sudden.

Is there a way to fix this?

It's possible... whether it's financially reasonable to do so is something else.

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store or take it to your local authorized service provider for an estimate.
