Battery says it's charging but is not

I have a MacBook Air (M1, 2020) that I got a little wet. After thorough drying (I thought) I turned it back on and a few hours in, the keyboard stopped working. So I dried it longer, and next restart the keyboard was working again. Everything seemed fine until I noticed it was no longer charging, even though System Information>Power>Charging = "Yes". The battery doesn't dip as long as its plugged in and it stays on when unplugged. However the battery won't go up, even when asleep. I didn't notice this until I got to 3%...... is this recoverable? If I dry it out longer is there any hope of charging again? Every other thread I've read that's related, the status reads "not charging". Help!

Hi,

Try to check your MacBook Air with Apple Diagnostics if it reports battery related error.

Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support

If error is reported or not, you'd better take your MacBook Air to your local retail AppleStore, Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Air there.
