Cannot set up Apple Watch

I've been having a hard time setting up my Apple Watch. My phone's screen is stuck on "Connecting your Apple Watch. This may take a moment." while my watch says "Please continue setup on iPhone". I've unpaired them and started over, I've also reset the watch, and restarted both devices. Not sure what else I can do. Anyone has any tips?
