Where do I find the phone icon. It has always been available now it’s gone. What do I need to do to get it back?

You can’t delete it. Look on other screens and in folders.
To search for something, swipe down from the middle of the screen to open the search page.

i literally woke up this morning and it was gone. It’s not on any other pages.
My telephone ICON disappeared from my phone. I can find it with search, but cannot get it at the bottom of my phone
I did not delete it, and I've read that it has occurred because some connection, like a separate USB, is causing the problem. But to follow your advice, what other screens are there that I should look at. When the icon is there it is at the top of the screen, near other small icons.
