Overheating caused by Chromium browsers

All Chromium based browser are causing rapid increase in temperature for up to 80 degrees which causes the fans to run at full blast leading to very bad battery life and the cover of the laptop is unpleasantly hot to the touch. Activity monitor CPU% and Memory show that for ex. Google Chrome is the reason for this issue.

I have tried multiple times to reinstall the programs causing this, restart my laptop, reset my SMC and NVRAM and clear my Temporary Internet Files.

Any suggestions?

P.S. I am currently using Safari and the experience is average, but I miss some of the extensions and features of Chromium based browsers.
