Logic Pro X is sluggish when using external audio interface I'm using Logic Pro X 10.6.2 and a problem has started that I've never had before. When I try and use it with my Focusrite Clarrett2Pre, it is sluggish and unusable. I cannot use the controls without it loading for a long time and the meters jump up and down. But if I use it with the built in audio, it runs smoothly. I've tried reinstalling Logic but it had no effect. I've also reset my preferences and still nothing. Has anyone else had this problem who has a fix?

Logic Pro X Not Recording Audio When I try to record, the play head will go but not record any audio, despite having the right inputs etc. When cycle is on, the play head will even jump back a bar. oddly enough, it isn’t like this in other projects. so what is happening??

Logic Pro X. The last selected audio interface is not available. Before anyone answers/asks, I do not swap interfaces. I use the same interface (RME Fireface UCX) permanently plugged in via USB in my studio. That interface is selected as the interface in both system audio preferences and Logic Pro X and has been for months. Yet I still get this message every time I start Logic. The app is quit every time before machine shutdown. It's more annoying than a blocker, but I'm worried that it means there's another problem elsewhere that I'm not aware of.

Did you update the mpc software/audio-unit to 2.8 yet?

There are some plugins that have issues with 10.5. Check with the supplier of that plugin.
