iCloud memory

I just bought 2tb worth of iCloud memory for $9.99 , I have 2 questions , 1- why wasn’t I given a option for 50 gb worth of memory , 2- the charge of $9.99 how long / duration I have to pay this ?

You pay for iCloud storage upgrades monthly for as long as you want to use the storage. It is similar to renting physical storage space or renting an apartment.


I don't know why you wouldn't have had the option to upgrade to either of the other plans (50GB or 200GB) but you should be able to downgrade. See: Downgrade your iCloud storage - Apple Support
