Prior to a certain iPhone update, (sadly I do not remember how long ago), when I set an wake up alarm.... when it went off... it started low volume and gradually got louder the longer the alarm went (when you didn’t shut it off).
now, same said alarm... goes off full blast, startling you.
is there a way to adjust the alarm volume to start quieter and increase WITHOUT changing the volume of the ring volume???
any help would be most appreciated!!!

The only way I found to accomplish this is by setting the alarm using the ‘bedtime’ option. Any alarm I set on the alarm page starts out loud.
Yeah unfortunately you only have a limited selection of alarm sounds when using bedtime. If you really want to wake up to your music gradually getting louder, I think that there are alarm apps in the app store that can do that though they may not be free.
Thank you. It works.... but sadly, I do not have the option to select a music track, only the 6 or 7 limited sounds that’s available. Still, better than getting BLASTED out of bed.
