I wouldn't recommend it. They are not designed for repeated writing.

I totally agree with Malcolm, not reliable enough.
Would not consider it.
How about using for a "snapshot" backup, as I don't really need a constant ongoing record of every change?
As an emergency backup it should be mostly OK, but if it comes time to need it don't be too shocked if it doesn't work since last time you used it. :)
