Files disappeared from icloud

My files from icloud (Pages, etc.,) have disappeared. I’ve gone to icloud.com to Restore the files but they’re not there. How can I get them back?

iPad Air 2, iPadOS 13

Have you tried any of the suggestions provided here — Access iCloud Drive files from your iPhone and other devices - Apple Support?
