can't make calls from stored contacts. Get message to reenter the 10 digit number on key pad to complete the call. This happens with stored contact numbers, recent calls and dialed with key pad numbers.
Do you see the 10 digit phone numbers in your contacts? Are they formatted correctly?

Do you see the numbers in your contact cards? If they are there go to Settings/Phone and turn on Dial Assist.
Thanks for your help, but it didn't solve my problem.
Found out it was due to week signal from Spectrum carrier. Switched back to Verizon: Problem solved!
