If toothpaste gets in between screen protector and lcd screen will it damage the phone screen? If not how to clean it?

Iphone's Waterproof and toothpaste proof? I rubbed the stainless steel part of my iphone X with toothpaste to remove scratch, but i'm more concerned about the toothpaste entering my phone or damaging it somehow, because i got some of it caught in the cervices between the front screen and the side stainless steel. Hello, I was watching a youtube video on how to remove scratches from an apple watch, and one video suggested using nail polish and nail polish remover to make the scratches on the screen less visible. Will this remove any important coatings or will the screen be fine? I've heard some people say that toothpaste removes scratches too. Would that be safe for the screen as well?

Did you drop the iPhone or exposed it to any liquid or exposed it to temperature beyond acceptable limits?
