Logic Pro X third party plugins not displaying correctly.

After recently installing the latest Logic Pro X update, my third party plugins (specifically a large collection of Waves plugins) have started to open with a blank interface. There are no graphics displaying the plugin or parameters to adjust. Despite this, the plugins do still work, they are just completely unadjustable.

I've sifted through the library/audio/plugins/component folders, have tried moving the files in and out and rebooting my Mac and Logic, amongst various other things, but no joy.

I've attached a screenshot of the Kramer Tape, that's part of my Waves collection, open in the current state. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Huw1989, if you're able to I would recommend upgrading. Be aware that Waves charge for some of the major updates, however I think they have a sale on at the moment so you may be able to get a deal on updating. There's a post on reddit about this exact issue and the solution seemed to be to update to v11. If you have the previous version of Logic (10.4.x) installed I'd keep that as a backup and run your projects that use those Waves plugins.

Hi Huw1989, I'm using a few Waves plugs in 10.5 with no graphical issues, have you tried to update them via Waves Central? I believe the current version is v11?

Thanks for the advice, I'll be certain to look into it.

I'm quite happy using the stock plugins with Logic so it's not the end of the world if I can't get Waves to work properly, quite able to get my work done with what Logic already offers.

No problem, as an aside FabFilter Saturn 2 just released (all of FabFilter's stuff is awesome tbh) which is good for saturation/distortion, as is Softube's Tape, just keep an eye out on mid-season sales :)

My plugins are quite old so I have Waves Central V9.92 installed. However it doesn't seem to recognise my waves files
