wake ipad

I'm using an old iPad as a picture frame. the frame covers the home button and looking for a way to "wake" the iPad as I'm not leaving it on all the time. I know on the iPhone there is a Raise to Wake feature but not on the iPad.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Is the power button accessible? You could tap that to wake it up.

You could also poke around in the accessibility options to see if any of those can allow you to wake the device

I don’t use Siri, but maybe saying ‘hey siri’ or something like that could also be used to wake it.
