Music Won’t Play Through Car Speakers

Hello,

A few days ago my iPhone 8 connected to my car stereo through bluetooth as usual but the music continued to play through my phone speakers. When I go into the connected devices section I see my iPhone and a strange connection with numbers and letters which is connected to my car. I assume this is something to do with my phone? Has anyone else had this problem and know how I can fix this? It’s so frustrating.
