You are correct. Netflix will NOT allow downloads on computers. The only way to access Netflix from a computer is through their website. You can then always stream live from their website but will not be able to download content like you can with your iPhone or other devices that actually use the Netflix app. The purpose here is to prevent downloaded content from sharing with the use of computers and violating copyrighted material.
