Cannot find High Sierra Anywhere

I followed the instructions at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208969 and it opened my App Store, but High Sierra doesn't come up to download, just the App Store Main Screen. I am currently running Sierra on a MacBook Pro Early 2011 (Model: A1278). I should be able to update to High Sierra, which is the latest supported version for my mac, but I can't find it anywhere. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.12

Hi there melkisespinal,

It sounds as though you're looking to update your MacBook Pro to macOS High Sierra. Updating is important, I'd be happy to assist in seeking a solution!

Below is a resource that can help:

macOS High Sierra-App Store

If that link doesn't open to macOS High Sierra in the App Store you can use macOS Recovery mode with the Option+Command+ R combination to upgrade to the latest macOS that is compatible with your Mac. Here is a resource that can help with macOS Recovery:

How to reinstall macOS from macOS Recovery

Creating a backup before a reinstall would be advised, below is a resource that provides information on backing up:

Back up your Mac with Time Machine

I hope this helps,

Cheers!
