Im fully updated on my Apple iPad and still cant turn keychain on? Anyone know the issue please?
I'm almost absolutely certain, you MUST be using 2 factor authentication in order to use Keychain.
Why wouldn't you want to use 2 factor authentication. It's actually an excellent service and provides added protection.

Sorry Im not fully conversant with pad at the moment. If i go to Icloud in settings and find key chain I literally can't switch it on. button flicks blue and then back to grey. I receive no messages.
Ive ensured Im fully upgraded.
I did see iPhone users were having issues but that now been fixed with upgrade so wondered if IPad fix not yet done or if its an issue with two factor ID not turned on at the moment.
in the middle of setting up iPad but the other reason is no ones ever going to pinch an iPad where i live hundreds of miles from anyone and i do no private financial stuff on it so not really worried about protection. However, as I'm now setting up keychain i will be authenticating it. thanks for the quick heads up.

What not? Do you receive an error message? Can you please elaborate more on your question?
Even if you never need to use 2FA, it's not intrusive and truly does protect you.
