Changed my Apple ID (email address) through my iPhone and lost all of my photos!!!

To whom can help me,

To start off with, I decided to change my Apple ID (email address) as I no longer use the original email address that was linked with my Apple ID. With this being said, I changed my Apple ID on my iPhone as follows:

Settings > Apple ID, iCloud, iTunes & App Store > Name, Phone Numbers, Email

I then clicked edit and deleted my old Apple ID email (at the same time it required me to put in my new Apple ID (email address). Once this was changed and confirmed, it required me to login again using my new Apple ID. After logging in using my new Apple ID, I realized that I lost nearly 70% of my photos. Please keep in mind that these photos were full of great memories... memories that I "may" never look back on again. In addition, I did have iCloud on and up to date. I still have all of my notes, apps, contacts, etc...

With this being said, I tried logging out and signing into my old Apple ID account and it gives me an error stating that the Apple ID is not supported...

I am very confused on what is going and I would appreciate it dearly if anyone could help me retrieve my photos. Also, I do not have a Mac!!!
