So, I run bootcamp on my computer but wanted to make my windows partition smaller and add some of it back to my mac partition. Is that something this would work with or would I have to do something else?

You cannot change the size, but you can remove/re-install Windows on a smaller partition using BC Assistant. Third-party tools may allow you to backup and restore to smaller partition size.
Using BC Assistant, when you remove Windows, the disk space is merged back into the main macOS disk space. If you re-install Windows using BCA, you can chose the partition size. This method will not preserve any of your Applications.
Wait so I could reinstall Windows on a smaller partition but can't actually combine the two in Mac OS ?
Does this work with Catalina ?
