my phone died and wont turn back on, its not cracked or anything and i just got it in novemeber. any ideas on what could be wrong?

Have you tried a force restart? Put it on your charger and let it charge for 30 minutes. With it still connected to power press the volume up key and release it then immediately press the volume down key and release then press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo then release the side button.
I couldn't tell you why, but keep at it.
If it fails in the same way repeatedly, your device may have suffered a failure and you will need to contact Apple Support directly:
this just occurred to me an hour ago. I just got the phone and it just turned off and won't turn back on. I just got the phone a month ago and i'm lost myself

thank you, just did and now in recovery mode connected to my Mac. Don't really know how this even happened
okay, it just went into downloading the restore and just repeated everything again ?
