how many iphones can use the same icloud account?

iCloud is linked to an Apple ID. As many devices as are signed into the same Apple ID will access the account. There is not option for multiple Apple IDs to access the same account, although there are options to share storage (family members have a single billing for storage but still have private storage), shared Photo albums and shared files/folders.
