iCloud backup

If I am backing up my phone, do the photos sent in messages with each contact get backed up? When I open up messages on a different phone (after signing into iCloud) will the photos be saved in the info tab in the conversations?

I use messages in icloud and I have deleted a conversation. How can I retrieve the deleted conversation? I use messages in iCloud and the iCloud backup does not back up the messages. How can I retrieve a deleted conversation? Does it get saved anywhere similar to recently deleted photos?

photos and back up So simply put I have my messages marked on my phone to be sent to my icloud back up along with my photos. Now will the photos that are sent via a message thread will they appear on my new phone after the back up? I am curious to see what will come over to my new phone. I'm hoping everything. Thank you.
