I am able to download the apple watch app from the app store in my iPhone 6 , so will it pair but will not be fully functional ? or it will not at all work ? or work with some limitation ?
If you are buying a new Apple Watch 5 it will be running watchOS 6.x. That requires iOS 13.x on the iPhone it is paired with. The iPhone 6 cannot run iOS 13.x
