AirPods disconnect as soon as I take them out of case

I lost my AirPods case a few months back and just bought a new one from apple. They charge and connect but the second I pull one from the case they disconnect. I’ve tried resetting repairing everything I could find online and nothing has worked. Should I just buy new ones or am I missing something?

AirPods losing charge and disconnecting Hi! I've had my AirPods for about two years now and I wear them almost every day for several hours. I have noticed recently that my AirPods have trouble holding a charge and they disconnect frequently from my devices (whether it be my iPhone, iPad, or MacBook) after a short period of time. They also have gone from 5 hours to wear to barely an hour with one charge. Is there a way for me to fix this or is it time for a new pair? And if I need a new pair, is it better to buy a whole new set (I would get the 2nd generation again) or just have them repair the AirPod pieces themselves (like bring them into an Apple store and have them repair the pieces but not the case)? AirPods case not working Yesterday I figured out that the case to my AirPods weren’t working! I’ve had them for like 6-7 months. the case won’t reset or show any kind of light. I’ve tried to charge it but nothing happened. I can’t charge my AirPods so they’re dead and when I try to “find” my AirPods in the “find my” -app it says that the AirPods are out of the case. Does anyone knows how to fix that? I have tried to take them out and place them in they’re place one at a time, I’ve cleaned the bottom of they’re places to see if the case would detect them. Nothing I did helped!
