synchronized clip not showing in final video

I have synchronized 24 videos and cropped and resized each clip to fit on the screen (much like a zoom meeting screen). When I double click on the synchronized clip in the timeline, it opens up and shows and plays all clips. but when I close up the synchronized clip and play video from beginning, it just shows a blank screen where the 24 mini videos clips should be.

Working with synchronized clips on the timeline Hello, I have a two camera shoot plus audio, all divided into two segments. So, each segment has two video files and a master audio file. I've imported these into FCPX. I right click on the two video files and the audio file and select "Synchronize Clips." This creates a synch'd bundle of the video and audio clips. When I transfer the first "bundle" to the timeline and double click the small icon in the left corner, the synched clips expand. When I try to add the second "bundle" to the timeline, it goes into place as anticipated. However, when I double click the same icon on the second bundle, the first bundle disappears from the timeline. I'm trying have both expanded bundles on the timeline concurrently. I did not use "multicam" clip because I want to do a split screen, not cut between cameras. Happy to clarify anything necessary. Thanks very much for any assistance you can provide. SR

Apply effect to part of a synchronized clip Hi! I created a synchronized clip out of two clips and created a picture in picture for my video. I split the synchronized clip to cut out some content and applied a transition to the cut point. I later realized that I wanted to apply a reduced opacity to the picture in picture video as well as other changes to the background clip. I viewed both original clips in the timeline and applied the opacity reduction however it appears to only be applied to the first part of the split clip. The next part (after the cut point) lacks the modifications made to it. When I arrange to have the timeline show the individual clips, I can't modify the second part of the clip. Everything after the cut is sort of greyed out. How can I modify the individual clips in the synced clip after this cut point? Thank you in advance!

Audio clips locked together in timeline - cannot move independently Placed several audio clips in the timeline. Now, some of these clips are locked together in the timeline with other clips - cannot move independently. Several lines of audio, sound fx etc. But when I try to move a clip to the right, it brings another unrelated clip with it. How do I unlocked these? Why did they lock together in the first place? Many thanks!

You are not using standard terminology so it is a bit unclear how did this. A synchronized clip is to sync one video clip to several audio clips.

Please clarify. Did you manually sync, adjust size and position for the clips? Did you create a multicam clip? Did you make a compound clip.

Tell us your steps in detail so we can assist.

If possible post some screenshots.
