I mistaken purchase an apple store card not an itunes card? Can i have it replaced? I havent used it anyways. Is that possible?

Did you go to the store you bought it and try to return it?
I bought the card online. And also im not in the US.
I was trying to add value to a friend’s apple id (as a gift) thru his phone but using my credit card, it wasn’t allowing me to do so. Maybe its because my card is different from the owner of the phone. i then just clicked on apple store tried to buy apple card thinking it would also work with itunes but didn’t know there is a difference between apple card only and apple card&itunes which i normally buy when i travel to the States.
wht can i do?
