iPhone X screen won’t turn on.

My iPhone X screen won’t turn on. When I use the switch to toggle sound, the phone vibrates when I turn sound off which tells me that the phone is on, but the screen won’t work. I’ve tried the volume up/down, power button hold multiple times with the phone plugged in and unplugged with no success. I’ve also tried connecting it to iTunes on a laptop but iTunes won’t recognize it (whenever I connect to a device, the phone usually has a dialog box asking to approve connection to that devise, and since The screen is blank, I can’t approve that dialog box access). Are there other options I can try to either reboot or bring screen functionality back?
