My iPhone SE 2016 badly affected by iOS 13.5 update.

I updated my iPhone SE (2016) from iOS 13 to iOS 13.5 it was smooth earlier with almost no heating and battery issues. After iOS 13.5 it heats up rapidly and due to heating I have witnessed the loss of 1% battery within every 5 seconds .I have to keep it cool .My battery used to last almost a day with low power mode now low power mode also is of no use .Apple must do something as iOS 13.5 brochure said that it has bug fixes and improvements.

Hi ujjwal1804,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. I understand you have some concerns regarding the temperature of your iPhone SE and battery performance.

"When you use the device or charge the battery, the device might get warm. You might notice that your device feels warmer in these situations:

  • When you set up your device the first time
  • When you restore from a backup
  • When apps reindex or reanalyze data, like Photos tagging for faces, places, or keywords after a software update
  • When you use graphics-intensive or augmented-reality apps or features

These conditions are normal, and your device will return to a regular temperature when complete."

You can learn more about keeping your iPhone within acceptable operating temperatures below.

You'll find helpful steps to get the most from your battery within the next resource.

I also recommend reviewing the information and recommendations within this resource to check the overall health of your iPhone battery.

Cheers!
