Me too. Exact same issue. I got mine today (6-4-2020) and I can't get it to work either. Ive tried all the tips listed here

This worked for me for a couple hours then it started not working again.

If you have received updates then unfortunately you will have repeat the process.

I’ve tried the process again this morning to get it to log back in, no luck. Everything updated to newest version.

I’ve tried that, but there’s no sign in/ sign out on messenger on the phone.. ? Only thru fb but it still doesn’t apply to messenger

I’ve done a number of times. Seemed to work first time; woke up this morning, same thing. Followed steps 3 times, won’t work again. The message keeps returning
