Incomplete URL display in Safari

In both my Flickr.com account and in Youtube.com, when I select an album or a video, I only see up in the URL box flickr.com and youtube.com. I do not see the precise URL of the selected item. But over in Chrome, I can see the full URL.

This makes it very difficult to select, copy, and paste the URL into an email that I want to send to someone. Since this is very recent and it does not happen in Chrome, I think I have a setting wrong in Safari. I've looked through my settings and nothing has stood out to my eyes suggesting the solution.
