Links from Mail won't open in Safari
Quite often if I click on a link in an email from a mailing list, Safari says it can't find the server (see below). If I copy the link into Chrome it opens fine. Why?

Open Safari
Select Preferences under the Safari Menu
Click the Advanced Tab
Check the box at the bottom "Show Develop menu in menu bar"
Close the Preferences
Under the Develop Menu, choose "Empty Caches"
Wait about 5 minutes
Open Safari
Go back under the Preferences
Click the Privacy Tab
Click "Manage Website Data..."
Click "Remove All"
Quit and reopen Safari
Open Safari
Select Preferences under the Safari Menu
Click the Advanced Tab
Check the box at the bottom "Show Develop menu in menu bar"
Close the Preferences
Under the Develop Menu, choose "Empty Caches"
Wait about 5 minutes
Open Safari
Go back under the Preferences
Click the Privacy Tab
Click "Manage Website Data..."
Click "Remove All"
Quit and reopen Safari
This will trash all my cookies, right?
Right. There are cached items that are causing this error. Clearing cache and cookies will get your browser to open links normally.
