When will updated Broadcom 802.11ac Network Adapter drivers be available?

Latest version, 7.77.110.0, seems to be broken for a very long time now.

From those threads, it seems like Microsoft is not responsible for releasing Broadcom drivers, and Broadcom are saying that only Apple can release new drivers.

It has been 6 months since this issue was reported and I couldn't find any response from Apple about it.

Is Apple planning to release a new driver sometimes soon?

The current solution of reverting to the previous driver is a very bad solution.

The previous driver is 4.5 years old.

Many severe vulnerabilities were discovered in Broadcom drivers in the last 4.5 years.

apple do not write third party drivers, they get them from the hardware manufacture in this case Broadcom and test then and include them in newer bootcamp releases, in case of some hardware the newest normal windows driver from the manufacture will work fine with a mac running windows in bootcamp.

These are released via Apple Software Update. I will check on an older Mac which uses the 7.35 drivers.

We all know that Apple don't write the drivers.

But they are the only one who can test and release new drivers for their hardware.

My question was, is Apple planning on doing so any time soon?

Because it seems like they have been ignoring this for a very long time.

None of the newer existing drivers is compatible with this hardware, so there are no other drivers out there.

Only Apple can solve this, as Broadcom is not working directly with consumers.

Is there anyone from Apple who can comment about when new drivers will be released?

Are they even working on this?

Bootcamp WiFi Update should provide the latest Apple driver available. If you run Apple Software Update in Windows, do you see a pending update?

No pending updates. All up to date.

Also in Windows Updates all is up to date.

Are you saying there should be a newer version than 7.77.110.0?
