While using iPad Pro on Amazon app and I go to any product, when I touch “detail” in order to see reviews it doesn’t respond

While using IPad Pro on Amazon app and I go to any product, when I touch “detail” in order to see reviews it doesn’t respond. Everything else I touch on the app works fine and directs me to that location. The screen is not broken. There is no plastic shield.

I rotate the “details” to different locations on my screen and touch and still nothing. I have reinstalled Amazon app several times. Rebooted. Nothing works. The Amazon app works fine on my iPhone and my wife’s iPad.When I use Amazon on safari and go to “details”, it works! I have spoken to Apple support without getting a remedy. I have spoken to Amazon support and they say it is the Ipad.

I don’t want to reset and restore my IPad Pro and find out it doesn’t fix it. Has anyone had this happen or know how to fix?

I don't think you understand. Apple does not own the Amazon App. They have no control over the code in the Amazon app. Amazon needs to fix their app. And ONLY Amazon can fix their app. I haven't done anything to try to fix it. I don't use the app enough on my iPad or iPhone to shop. I typically shop on Amazon.com on my home computer.


If you want to let Amazon know you find their app has issues, you should reach out to Amazon. This is NOT an Apple issue at all.
