Apple ID password

My son lost his Apple ID password. He can’t get I to his phone. It doesn’t give the option to reset.

how to i log into my apple id when i have forgotten the password and the phone has been stolen my mum has had her phone stolen and has forgotten her apple id password to log in and lock the phone

Enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password.
