Deleted pictures

I logged out of my Apple ID on my phone and logged back into it and half my pictures were gone and they’re not at recently deleted or anything.

A Few Thoughts:

A. Was iCloud Photos Set Up?:

If your iPhone did not have Photos enabled with iCloud, then they would be gone. That's just the way it is :(

B. Any Backup of your iPhone?:

If you backed up your iPhone, then restore them from that

C. Log into iCloud:

See if they reside in iCloud.
