My iPhone 7 wont automatically download my photos to iCloud and I’m completely out of space on my phone. I pay for the 200gb iCloud storage and it’s not even halfway fulll... please help. I like taking pictures and I can’t.

I don’t have any more storage on my phone so I got the 200 GB iCloud storage and Nothing will automatically upload to iCloud. Does my phone have to be connected to Wi-Fi for it to update automatically? And I have 1800 photos and I cannot take pictures or videos anymore because I have no space on my phone. Please help.

I’m having a similar issue, but w/music.

i might be able to help you out for pics though. Have you tried?

  1. going to settings
  2. select your name at the very top
  3. select iCloud
  4. you will see the data you have used/remaining in your iCloud account
  5. below that you will see “apps using iCloud”
  6. find photos (on my phone it’s the first one listed)
  7. turn on if it isn’t already (1st option)
  8. make sure to select optimize For storage and whatever else you want to tinker with.
  9. got any ideas on how to get my music to sync w/iCloud?
