hi I can't connect my iPhone watch to my new iPhone. please

when I try to connect my watch to my iPhone it keep asking about the activation loch which I don't know. I was using this watch on a different iPhone which I gifted someone AND NOW I CANT GET THIS CONNECTED TO MY NEW IPHONE. PLEASE HELP ASAP. THANKS
