Idris, I don't even know what "pinch" means in this thread. Many times I meet English words that I cannot understand.

As for Dwell control, I think Chris refers to the pointer, introduced in iOS or iPadOS 13.3. : How to use a pointer device with AssistiveTouch on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

And yes, if we could see a screenshot, we would have less effort to understand.

I'm not entirely clear about "pinch" in this context. Usually, it's used in the context of "pinch and zoom" where you use two fingers on a touch screen, brining them together (pinch) to zoom out, moving them apart to zoom in.

I saw the "Dwell" settings but will need to read the article you kindly linked to.

Correct, I know "pinch and zoom" expression.

But I thought that in is thread "pinch" could be an adjective (related to dot, maybe like "little" or tiny"?) but using translators I can only see pinch as noun or verb :(

In these circustances I get very angry, because I'm curious. I will have to learn to live with these uncertainties of mine.

On top of the pandemic, my city is experiencing significant civil unrest, enough that the National Guard (part of the army that is allowed to operate inside the country) has been called in. There is no burning or looting in my neighborhood and hopefully, it will stay that way. Getting angry at little things is about the only power I feel that I have right now.

I thought it might also be the Dwell Control, but I wanted to make sure what they were describing as a pinch dot before I responded to that.

I'm not sure I know what "Dwell Control" is. I can't say I ever looked that far down the page. I must be losing my edge!
