Audio is out of sync when using final cut or iMovie to export file.
I am up to date on all software.

What is the audio sample rate of the media and of the project?
What is the source of the audio?
Usually, for video the sample rate is 48KHz.
Audio only is often 44.1KHz.
And although usually FCP X can cope with that, sometimes this sample rate discrepancy can cause the audio to drift.
MacBook Pro and IPad Pro. Video shot on iPhone 11 Pro Max at 1080. Other added clips were at 720. Exported better quality and high setting for mp4 file. Also to mov file. Audio was not added, but part of original
video.
What computer? What’s the media exactly, video and audio? What are the project properties? How exactly are you exporting?
Please confirm that all the audio is the same sample rate in the various media type. It’s probably 44.1. Confirm that your project properties match this.
Does the project frame rate and audio sample rate match the clips?
Audio is 44.1 What is sample rate on iPhone? Does it change on import to FCP
Looks to me that FCP converts audio to 48k
