iMessages not backing up to cloud
My messages on my iPhone XS are backed up to cloud.
I accidentally deleted a message this morning.
I signed into I cloud and messages are no where to be found.
Why not? And can I get my message back.
Thanks
Barb

I should have said text messages. Searching around has said
if the text are backed on to cloud on your phone, they should
appear on iCloud and you have a chance to get it back.
But there is no message folder on cloud
I think that once you delete a message of file, its removed across all devices logged into that iCloud account. And once deleted, you are not able to retrieve it.
