I am receiving emergency alerts for the wrong area. How do I change this?

I am receiving emergency alerts from Los Angeles County. I do not live in Los Angeles County. How do I change the geographic area/region for which I receive emergency alerts?

iPhone 6s, iOS 12

Contact your carrier. They are the ones that determine government alerts, generally based on the zip code for your account.
