Hey everyone, quick question.
How do I airplay a video from my iPad/ iPhone onto my Apple TV, but still use my device speakers as the audio source?
(what I have been doing is connecting a bluetooth speaker to my TV, so whatever I airplay onto it will have audio from my speaker. However I want to be able to just use my device as my audio but video on TV)

I’m pretty sure that is not possible. AirPlay of video media will send both video and audio to the Apple TV, and then to the TV. You can’t have different destinations for video and for audio.

Yeah thought so.
Just was wondering because I can do that with my MacBook (i.e airplay onto TV, but select internal speakers from "Output device")
