Today I receive my iPhone 11 pro. On receiving it do I need to fully charge it before I use it? I thought those days were long gone but thought I would check and Google gives mixed results.

No, you don't. Obviously, if you're going to update it (if needed, since yesterday a new iOS version 13.5.1. was officially released) you'd better keep it plugged.

So when it arrives I can back in up using the back up saved onto my pc by using the usb port and it’ll be ready to go??
