Do I need to fully charge a new iPhone?

Today I receive my iPhone 11 pro. On receiving it do I need to fully charge it before I use it? I thought those days were long gone but thought I would check and Google gives mixed results.

thanks!!

No, you don't. Obviously, if you're going to update it (if needed, since yesterday a new iOS version 13.5.1. was officially released) you'd better keep it plugged.

Read carefully this support guide to restore data from your previosly crated backup, keeping in mind that the iOS that you used to create that backup MUST be equal or earlier then the one that's running on your new (destination) iPhone:--> Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup

Before proeeding you need also to activate your new iPhone):--> Set up your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
