iPhone Apple ID

I have recently got a new iPhone so transferred my apps, contacts etc over to it from my old iPhone. I want to use the old iPhone for my son but it is still linked to my Apple ID. How do I change the Apple ID on my old phone so my son can not access my contacts etc without erasing them on my new phone?

Use the steps provided here:--> What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

That old iphone will be ready to be activated using a different Apple ID.

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iOS 10.3 or later

Go to Settings, tap [your name], then choose Name, Phone Numbers, Email.
Next to Reachable At, tap Edit, then delete your current Apple ID.
Tap Continue. Enter the Apple ID that you want to use.
Tap Next.
