Application is not responding (ITUNES)

Hello,


So i have an issue with my macOS Sierra - 10.12.6 as i cant open itunes. i tried to restart the application, the laptop itself and tried to uninstall and reinstall the application with no luck.


can anyone help with this matter.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.12

What version of iTunes are you trying to install? You ought to be using iTunes 12.8.2.3. See iTunes for Mac installers - Apple Community for direct download links. Do you get an error when you try to install? If I recall correctly the last time I reinstalled iTunes in High Sierra I had to temporarily disconnect from the Internet and set my clock back a year to workaround an expired security certificate issue.
