Does the apple watch work with 3 as my network?

I'm looking at buying an apple watch 3, either with the cellular or without (I'm undecided right now). My phone network is 3 and I'm worried that I won't able to connect my watch with my phone so that I can receive calls and messages. What do you know about this?

If you buy the GPS only version then you can make calls and send texts etc as long as you have your phone with you.

Here is a list of carriers that support the cellular version of the watch;

It appears that the 3 network does not support the cellular version of the watch.
