Apple TV

I have a free one year subscription to Apple TV on my smart TV. I have it all downloaded and when I attempt to choose a movie or tv series, it states I either need to rent or buy it. Anyone have a clue? 🤷🏻‍♀️

The subscription only covers Apple-original content.
