Apple ID verification failed
I keep getting an error when trying to log into my Apple ID saying “verification failed, The application you have selected does not exist”
this is on my iPhone 8, iPad Air 2, and iPad mini 2.

Apple just updated their system status page with an issue.

Paired an Apple Watch to my iPhone XR and now cannot log in to my Apple ID with my current password . Getting the same message. I could however use m Face ID to post this

can't update anything either because of this so dont think software upgrade is the issue
Same thing! Even tried reseting my password... It was working fine like 45 minutes ago???
I have this problem on my apple watch, macbook, and iphone. All devices saying The application you have selected does not exist
Our voices are united in this moment, haha. My advice to anyone reading this would be to wait things out for an hour or two.
I changed it multiple times too...thought it was just me...😀
Same here. It’s screwed up my phone, my IPad and my Apple TV. Hopefully it’s just a mess up on Apple’s end
Looks like about 5 minutes ago all users started experiencing this issue. Apple will have to fix it asap as they will lose money when people can't purchase anything from the app store.

Thanks for starting this thread, looks to be widespread. I updated my password cause I thought that would help, but it didn't. iPhone XR, still on 13.4.1
Apple needs to step in now. This is clearly a technical issue on their backend! PLEASE HELP!!!
