I keep getting an error when trying to log into my Apple ID saying “verification failed, The application you have selected does not exist”
this is on my iPhone 8, iPad Air 2, and iPad mini 2.

Apple just updated their system status page with an issue.

I had the same problem
it’s because your IOS needs to be updated
and if you have it on automatic it hasn’t done the update yet

What a frustrating hour of my life I will never get back. Don't know what happened, but finally all my devices are working again.
I was able to log in now
You should be able to install the latest update and fix that issue. Was able to solve this problem for an iPhone 8 today by doing this.

Just ran into this issue. Apple has an update for iOS 13 that just came out fixing this issue.
On both my iPhone and iPad
No. I experience this on my old iPad with 9.3.5
Resetting my password and restarting my device corrected this problem.
Not the case. I did the update last night. Have the issue with Application does not exist now.
